Nearly 20 years since this episode aired, over 13 years since the show left ABC (and 11 since the online revival), and 25:05 still grabs my heart like nothing else, ESPECIALLY that dissonant chord on the piano when we cut back to the show of Erica and Bianca. I miss my show, man.

I loved Taina Elg as Olympia Buchanan, the first and most obscure of the many Mrs. Buchanans. There wasn't a weak wife in the bunch, they were all great opposite Phil Carey.

Actually Agnes persuaded Joe from leaving Monticello and changing his name from Phil to Joe.

The show went into ratings decline after Andrea Evans left in 1990. She was the icon of OLTL.

What amazes me about Susan Lucci is she is not really Erika, I mean Susan stayed married to the same husband and commend her considering actors and actresses go from marriage to marriage and also she was physically beautiful and it tells me not a shallow person like I see some of these actors. Good for Susan.

This show was taped on 2/3/17 when John Callahan was 63. He died of a massive stroke three years later on 3/28/20 at 66. He played Edmund Grey on All My Children. He and Eva were already divorced on this show.

She got married 11 times and never too ashamed to wear white .

This was such a joke of a storyline.

I sure wish this great soap was still on. I miss it, even though there were many years when I couldn't watch. I'm glad General Hospital is still going.

I love the scene where he pulls her in for a cuddle as she's leaving the hotel. I'd forgotten how much fun it was to watch Carly Simon back in the day. Maura West and Paul Leyden made complete magic together. Thank you for the upload of these clips!

Maura West had chemistry with anyone they paired her with. Paul Leyden was no different (and a fine actor in his own right). I watched this at the time, and I remember loving it, but it's nice to see again after all these years. Carly Simon was the rom-com I wished they would make.
